  • “Service Area” refers to all locations within Dhaka city where we currently operate, including Mohammadpur, Uttara, Mirpur, Dhanmondi, Gulshan, and other covered zones.

2. Services We Provide

Reliable AC Service Ltd. offers home and office appliance repair and maintenance solutions across Dhaka city. Our primary AC repair service in Dhaka covers split AC, window AC, cassette AC, and central HVAC systems. Beyond that, we handle a range of secondary appliance repairs.

We reserve the right to decline a service request if the required work falls outside our technical capability, if the appliance is deemed beyond economical repair, or if accessing the appliance would pose a safety risk to our technicians.

3. Booking and Scheduling

You can schedule a service through any of the following channels:

3.1 Service Hours

We operate every day from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM (midnight). Bookings confirmed after 10:00 PM may be scheduled for the next available slot depending on technician availability.

3.2 Appointment Windows

We provide an estimated arrival time when you book. However, actual arrival may vary by 30 to 60 minutes depending on traffic conditions, prior job completion time, and other operational factors across Dhaka city. We will notify you of any significant delay through phone or SMS.

3.3 Service Area Boundaries

Our standard coverage includes all major areas within Dhaka city. For locations at the city outskirts or newly developed areas not listed on our service area page, a surcharge may apply. We will inform you of any additional charge before confirming the booking.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Service Charges

Our pricing is based on the type of service, appliance category, and work complexity. We share an estimated cost at the time of booking. This estimate covers the standard diagnostic and service fee. If additional parts or unforeseen repairs are needed, the technician will explain the issue and provide a revised cost before proceeding with any extra work.

4.2 Parts and Components

If your appliance requires replacement parts, the cost of those parts is quoted separately. We source parts from authorized distributors and reputable suppliers in Dhaka. You have the right to accept or decline the part replacement. No parts will be installed without your verbal or written confirmation.

4.3 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash (paid directly to the technician after service completion)
  • bKash (personal or merchant transfer)
  • Nagad
  • Bank transfer (details provided upon request)

Full payment is expected at the time of service completion unless a prior credit arrangement has been agreed upon in writing for corporate or contract clients.

Important: Service charges are non-negotiable once work has begun. Refusing to pay after service completion may result in legal action and reporting to relevant authorities.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellation by Customer

You may cancel a booked service at no charge if the cancellation is made at least 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Cancellations made within 2 hours of the appointment may incur a call-out fee of BDT 200 to compensate for the technician’s travel and time allocation.

5.2 Cancellation by Us

In rare cases where we are unable to dispatch a technician due to unforeseen circumstances (severe weather, emergency, vehicle breakdown), we will notify you as early as possible and offer to reschedule at a convenient time at no extra cost.

5.3 Refund Eligibility

Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 5 to 7 working days. Refunds are only issued in the following situations:

  • Payment was made in advance for a service that we failed to deliver
  • A part was charged but not actually installed in your appliance
  • Double payment was made due to a technical or human error

Refunds are not issued for services that have been fully completed as described, even if the appliance develops a different issue afterward. Such cases are covered under our warranty policy outlined in Section 6.

6. Service Warranty and Guarantee

Reliable AC Service Ltd. stands behind the quality of our work. We offer the following warranty coverage on our services:

  • AC repair and gas refill: 30 days service warranty on the specific repair performed
  • AC cleaning: No warranty applicable (cleaning is a maintenance service, not a repair)
  • AC installation: 90 days warranty on installation workmanship (leakage from joints, improper piping)
  • Refrigerator repair: 30 days service warranty
  • Washing machine repair: 30 days service warranty
  • TV and microwave oven repair: 30 days service warranty

What the warranty covers: If the same issue that we repaired recurs within the warranty period, we will revisit and fix it at no additional service charge. Replacement parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty only — we do not provide separate warranty on parts unless explicitly stated at the time of installation.

6.1 Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not apply if:

  • The appliance was tampered with, opened, or serviced by another technician or shop during the warranty period
  • The issue was caused by voltage fluctuation, electrical surge, or improper power supply
  • The appliance suffered physical damage, water exposure, or misuse after our service
  • The customer fails to provide the original service receipt or booking reference when claiming warranty
  • A different issue develops that is unrelated to the original repair

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Bangladesh:

  • Our total liability for any single service job shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that specific service.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of business revenue, food spoilage (in case of refrigerator issues), or discomfort caused by an appliance being out of operation.
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions in your appliance that were not detectable during the initial diagnostic or that were not part of the service requested.
  • We do not take liability for damage to walls, ceilings, or structures that occurs during drilling or installation work if the structure was already weak, damp, or compromised. The technician will assess and inform you before proceeding.

Our AC repair technicians in Dhaka are trained professionals, and we take every reasonable precaution to deliver safe and effective service. However, appliance repair inherently carries some risk, and you accept these limitations by using our services.

8. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to the following:

  • Provide accurate information about the appliance brand, model, issue description, and your exact address when booking.
  • Ensure someone aged 18 or above is present at the location during the entire service appointment.
  • Provide a safe working environment — clear the area around the appliance, ensure proper power supply, and remove any obstacles that may hinder the technician’s work.
  • Not ask the technician to perform any work outside the agreed scope without confirming the additional cost first.
  • Not physically or verbally abuse, threaten, or harass our technicians. We reserve the right to refuse service and leave the premises if such behavior occurs, and a call-out fee may still apply.
  • Keep children and pets away from the work area during the service for safety reasons.
  • Verify the service performed and make the payment before the technician leaves your premises.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and store your name, phone number, address, appliance details, and service history to deliver and improve our services. Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Key points to note:

  • We never sell your personal data to third parties.
  • Your phone number and address are used solely for service coordination and follow-up.
  • We may send you service reminders or promotional messages via SMS or WhatsApp. You can opt out at any time by informing us.
  • Service photos taken by technicians (for documentation or warranty purposes) are stored securely and not shared publicly without your consent.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on acservice.bd — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, service descriptions, blog articles, and design elements — is the intellectual property of Reliable AC Service Ltd. or is used with proper authorization.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or republish any content from our website without written permission
  • Use our business name, logo, or branding in any misleading manner
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from our website for commercial purposes

11. Third-Party Components and Parts

Some replacement parts used in our repair services are manufactured by third-party companies. While we source parts from reliable suppliers and test them before installation, we do not manufacture these parts ourselves. Warranty on such parts is limited to what the respective manufacturer or supplier offers, and we will pass on any applicable warranty to you.

We are not liable for defects in third-party parts beyond what the part supplier’s warranty covers. If a part fails under warranty, we will facilitate the replacement process at no labor charge to you.

12. Force Majeure

Reliable AC Service Ltd. shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in providing services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (floods, cyclones, earthquakes)
  • Government-imposed restrictions, curfews, or lockdowns
  • Severe traffic disruptions or road closures across Dhaka
  • Power outages affecting our operations or your premises
  • Pandemic or public health emergencies
  • Supply chain disruptions affecting parts availability

In such events, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule services as soon as conditions normalize.

13. Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint or dispute regarding our service, we encourage you to resolve it with us directly first. You can reach us through:

If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, both parties agree to seek resolution through mediation or arbitration as per the applicable laws of Bangladesh, with jurisdiction resting in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
